Solomon’s lily

CHAPTER 31

SOLOMON’S LILY

„In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was waste and void; and datkness was upon the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”.

These are the opening words of the Book commonly called the Book of Genesis and I’m certain that no religious orientation would have anything against it, save from a scientific aspect. It could be considered questionable. Yet both aspects are far from the truth. Immediately, all the readers of these pages will ask what connection this biblical legend has with the geometrical reality that we are demonstrating. How can I explain in the most apparent manner an approach that is religious and on the other hand scientific (spherical – but in quotation marks read as “angelic”) and which participates in all of this (and partakes in it as a basis)? Because, (we are now referring to both approaches) the question was whether it is possible to construct an equilateral triangle only with a compass and determine its center in the same way (only with a compass). The first aspect is easy. The second aspect is somewhat harder (read: according to present-day constructions that are encyclopedically inscribed – impossible). But since readers have already learned a number of things from these pages – it is possible. However, the “sky” was procured in the last chapter, and now we will procure the “earth”. Then we will look for the “fusion” (of sky and earth). What is the basis of our assertions and what links do they have with Solomon’s Lily? We will get wind of all this consecutively, because this is just the beginning, the beginning of one of the (visually) most beautiful coding systems – a code of wealth and wisdom. (It is Solomon’s symbol.) But we will start from the most antique times of geometry, hence you may expect sequences and sequences of data (relationships between which and about which we humans know very little, pyramidal principles found in hieroglyphic inscriptions on the concept of the cross – the crosses of builders and who know what else). For regardless of how hard I refuse to comply to any kind of esoteric afterthoughts, still I am forced to accept them, but with some other aim in mind – to call your attention to the “clandestine esoteric reality of the official and secret societies” simply as an illustration of what our human mind is capable of molding on the basis of its ignorance, (read: immaturity – I am referring to the developmental stage of the mind in the distant past, assuming that already today (or perhaps not before tomorrow) our mind will be capable of coming face to face with its own “beginning” – so let’s go on, with some repetitions, from where we stopped in the last chapter.

* * *

We repeat again. A point in space. Arbitrary aperture of the compass, Full circles. Triangle. Formative circles divided by their radiuses into six segments. Now the compass aperture: from initial peak of triangle to intersections of formative circles.

* * *

Consecutively. From poles of the triangle, from intersections of the circles, from poles of formative circles to their perimeters. New radius. From free point to next free point…

* * *

… and so on, in a circle. Triangle center.

* * *

Its described circle.

* * *

Now let’s go back and perform the division from the subtended vertex and its circle into six segments. Same aperture – point of one triangle, the pole (now a common one) to the intersections of circles to the perimeter of formative circles.

* * *

Now, from all four vertices we have two subtended triangles.

* * *

From intersections of all four formative circles.

* * *

From all of its now 6 poles.

* * *

Midpoint of the first pole and its described circle.

* * *

Same system with its subtended pole and described circle.

* * *

Compass aperture remains the same. We see four free points on subtended circles (two on each), hence the same radius, but only from them.

* * *

Forms the system’s center. Circle from the center of the described magnitude of the triangle.

* * *

From that same center, the described magnitude of both triangles…

* * *

… and the circle of the formative radius. All this is yet to be analized, along with the sequences of other intersections, but let’s shortly go back to the radius of the common center with the help of which this midpoint came forth.

* * *

We extend it beyond the system. The upper and lower triangles are a united “flower” of a united system, “Solomon’s Lily” – richness and beauty as well as wisdom and knowledge. All this is yet to be analyzed.

* * * *

AFTERWORD FOR THIS PART

That’s for sure! Had anyone at an earlier time asked someone to draw a triangle only with a compass and to (only with a compass) determine its center and then to “fusion it” with its subtended twosome into a one and only center, I’m sure that everybody in the world would have paused and shook their heads disavowing the possibility, myself included. But the exertion with a compass is really worth the effort, hence if my stranger friend and painter of Sacred Geometry, otherwise a Briton Stephen Meakin (www.stephenmeakin.co.uk), was to transfuse the result into color, it would be one of the most visually beautiful artifacts! But, I will relinquish that to him, thereby giving him the right to do so. Nevertheless, at the far side of this, “behind this door”, much more is hidden than has been indicated here (believe me because I have already seen a part of it). On basis of this déjà vu I cannot rid myself of the premonition that many had in the course of the centuries known this (from the builders of the pyramids, Moses, Solomon, the Pythagoreans and all the way to the Templars), but then I wonder why no person ever made this publicly known, leaving a “complete path”? What is hiding behind a natural geometric concept that has so far never come to light for everyone to see, but only in fragments that we have not been able to grasp for years; knocking oneself out in research like my friend, an American researcher (since part of his research is hitherto also fragmentary on this concept on the territory of the United States – a five-sided American pyramid)… And how much easier would it be for school-children in just a single segment, such as determining the height of an equilateral triangle, to solve it in a manner applied by the ancients? Why all this secrecy at the expense of generations, why all this “obscuring” of the human mind with tales and enigmas? I do not know. I do not understand. But I do know that in all likelihood a lot of hard work awaits me. However, it’s summertime! It’s the time to go swimming and bathing with my family in the allurement of the Adriatic Sea, the time to “put your brain to pasture”, as people say. But really, one never knows whether this will happen, like one never knows what today or tomorrow may bring. All the same, I hope to get the opportunity to afford you with an analysis of this ancient – yet new – geometry.
